Both the Ace Foil and Ace Foil Lightning models share the same design but differ in size scaling. The Ace Foil Lightning is longer and narrower, reducing drag and extending the waterline for faster glide and earlier takeoff - ideal for flat-water and downwind SUP foiling or racing. In contrast, the Ace Foil is slightly shorter and wider, offering a more agile and playful flight with greater maneuverability in both downwind conditions and waves. Its compact design helps limit catching during turns while extra width ensures stability. In short, the Ace Foil Lightning is optimized for speed, while the Ace Foil excels in agility and control.
 
HIGH-ASPECT PARALLEL OUTLINE: Based on a teardrop outline, the Lightning range has a straighter parallel outline to maximise the stability and efficiency.
 
PIN TAIL: Tracking and efficiency are two key aspects of the pintail design. The pin tail offers great tracking for catching bumps and fast and smooth takeoff and minimal catch when touching the water.
 
ROCKER: The rocker is fine-tuned for speed, spring, and larger bumps. The rockerline has been tested in a range of conditions, from flatwater to large ocean swell and is both lightning fast in take offs and forgiving in touch downs.
