The Axis Fireball has high lift and low drag and thanks to a high aspect shape with a high camber this foil will get you up and going so you can go further downwind at higher speeds.
 
The Axis Fireball blends the best features from the Spitfire, ART Pro, and ART V2 designs. With a similar turn-down, straight median line, and tapered profile, it preserves the core characteristics of its predecessors while pushing the boundaries of performance.
 
What sets the Fireball apart is its advanced foil section, featuring a higher camber that adds curvature for increased lift. Much like an airplane adjusting its flaps for landing, this curvature allows for greater lift at lower speeds. While high camber typically reduces speed, Axis has countered this by pairing it with a faster foil section and an impressive 13:1 aspect ratio, reducing drag and enhancing overall efficiency.
 
Although primarily designed for downwind applications, the Fireball 1000 is equally well-suited for winging and other water sports. The higher camber not only provides superior lift but also creates a subtle nose-down effect at higher speeds, resulting in enhanced stability and a smoother, more balanced ride.
 
To further refine performance, Axis developed smaller Skinny stabilisers with 30mm and 25mm cord, crafted from ultra-high modulus carbon for added stiffness.
